LOWER BACK SURGERY TAKES PATIENT FROM A "D" TO A "B+"
I was experiencing lower back pain and had surgery once before several years ago. I thought I had herniated a disc and waited about two years before deciding to get surgery. I tried acupuncture, physical therapy, and everything else I could on my own. I decided it was time to see a surgeon.
When we saw Dr. Lim, I got MRIs done and he said that it would require major surgery, which didn't surprise me. We talked about percentage chance of a full recovery, and Dr. Lim said he was confident but couldn't guarantee 100 percent and I appreciated his honesty.
It was a 6 to 8 hour surgery and after, I began to feel tremendously better. I absolutely would recommend Dr. Lim to anyone considering lower back surgery. Totally. When people used to ask me, 'How's your back? I would tell them, D on an academic scale. After being treated by Dr. Lim, now it’s a B+. Next month is my one-year follow-up and I'm continuing to do physical therapy. Just outstanding. Top of the line.
